Singapore, a small country that may not boast the natural beauty of our homeland, is unbelievably home to magnificent and elaborately built tourist attractions. Indeed, Singapore has developed its tourist destinations impressively, complete with abundant green spaces. Its transportation system is more convenient than many larger countries, with an extensive and reliable train network ensuring you won’t get lost. Most people can communicate in English, and importantly, the food is delicious and suits Thai tastes.

For those who haven’t visited, I highly recommend making a trip. If you’re unsure where to stay, today I will introduce the most popular accommodation areas. Let’s see which neighborhoods are ideal to stay in and what attractions they offer, providing options to help you make a better decision for your stay.

Orchard

The Orchard Road area in Singapore is a renowned shopping district, similar to our Siam in Thailand. It’s filled with upscale malls and world-famous brand stores, perfect for an extensive shopping spree. It’s considered the heart of Singapore, offering convenient access to various destinations with both train and bus services available. The area is also highly safe. For avid shoppers, staying in this area is incredibly convenient, and contrary to what one might think, the accommodation prices aren’t as steep as expected.

It’s just a few steps away from Orchard train station and close to Food Republic. Opposite the hotel, you’ll find a 7-Eleven and a Cheer store.
